About Us

Welcome to Hatched at Hillmans! We are Ben & Lauren Hillman; We have been keeping, breeding, rescuing, and catching reptiles since we were kids. Long story, but our reptile hobby is actually how we met each other, as teenagers!

We have raised countless species of lizards, snakes & turtles over the past 20 years. Needless to say, reptiles have been a big part of our lives. Because we have 7 (yes, 7!) children,  that keep our lives quite busy, we took a several year break from keeping reptiles.

​

In Jan of 2020 we jumped back into the hobby/business as a family, to keep and produce a few of our favorite species, and share our love of reptiles with our children.

 

Bearded Dragons are our family favorite, and current main focus. We are working with a wide variety of colors and morphs, and are passionate about producing dragons that are not just eye catching, but healthy and genetically strong.

Another thing we really enjoy is educating the public about our favorite animals, whether that is on social media, at a reptile show we are vending at, or giving a presentation to a local school or group. We always welcome your questions!
